Project 365 ~ Juicing, our way!

Day 8 ~ 15

Nick loves his daily fruit and vegetable juice, therefore my once a day image for the next few days will revolve around his juice! #aperture

It wasn't so long ago that Nick would only eat sweet red apples. These days he is happy to try any
variety, regardless of colour or flavour. I also add in variation by randomly removing the peel, leaving the peel on or doing a bit of both.  #samebutdifferent

Gang, I got a little sidetracked.......

I had major plans to photograph spinach (of all things!) for today's picture. However, I took Nick
to Physio this morning and to pass the time while he was beavering away, I pulled out my camera.
I found the following reflection in a puddle. Now, how cool is that? I am so chuffed with myself,
although irritated that there is a sun spot. I need to think about getting some sort of editing program. Suggestions welcome. :)

Nothing beats having a bit of baby spinach in a fruit and veg juice! Healthy or what?

Ever tried taking a photo of carrots? So boring... or perhaps it is my imagination!

I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this crazy challenge that I have set myself! I totally understand if you don't follow my Project 365 ~ come back and check my efforts in 50 weeks! Hoping like hell that there will be huge improvement!

Chopped and ready to go. I do change the ingredients, it all depends on what I have in the fridge or fruit bowl.

And, here we have it. One glass of extremely healthy fruit and vegetable juice. Yum!

  1. Super idea to cram in vitamins and minerals. I haven't juices for months but start again tomorrow. I like adding beetroot to my juices because I don't actually like eating it. Your reflection pic is magic. My husband uses Photoshop or Lightroom for his photos.

    1. Hi Kristi, I tried Nick with beetroot and he hated it! I also love that reflection picture. Thanks for the info, I need to look into both options.

  3. Hi!
I'm using Adobe Photoshop Touch to make PCS icons for my son. It is surprisingly flexible, simple to use and inexpensive. For viewing and basic editing (like white balance, contrast, exposure compensation etc.) I use Nikon's ViewNX2. I'm happy with the both of them. i hope Nick has fully recovered. We have had our share of infections and the hot face with cold feet felt like a de ja vu.

    1. Hi Antti, thank you for the information, more lovely stuff for me to check out! Sorry to hear that you have also had a run of infections in your house. Nick is still not 100%..... I didn't realise how much he was going to be knocked by the Pneumonia.

  4. Love your puddle photo! Amazing. And so love your delicious looking fruit and veg. I must really look at that photo in more detail to see what you put in that smoothie! We've been making our own lately but are stuck on strawberries, blueberries, banana & yogurt. I bought frozen spinach (we'll never use a full bag of fresh!) to sneak some in! Good luck with your project :-) xx

    1. Your smoothie sounds delicious, Jazzy. I am keen to start introducing smoothies to Nick, although he is not keen on the texture at this stage. Thanks for stopping by. xx
